Industrial Safety

The state of safeguarding the environment, as well as people and property, against the adverse consequences of potentially hazardous production elements is known as industrial safety. The name of this hazardous producing site is Standartmunai LLP. One method to guarantee industrial safety is through the declaration of hazardous production facility safety and the evaluation of industrial safety experts. The object is examined by an industrial safety specialist to make sure it meets all relevant standards and requirements.

A obligatory declaration must be made by any facility that produces hazardous materials and whose operations potentially have a negative impact on the public or the environment. In this regard, a Refinery Safety Declaration was prepared by corporate personnel, who examined it thoroughly before registering it with the relevant organization. The main objective of industrial safety is to avoid accidents and lessen their impact on hazardous production locations. The accomplishment of this goal is also aided by the availability of qualified specialists who satisfy the qualifying standards. Refresher courses and industrial safety training are provided to Standartmunai LLP employees.

An organized set of managerial rules, regulations, and procedures used to implement and advance risk-reduction and safety-related development initiatives is known as an industrial safety management system. The industrial safety management system includes both organizational and technical safeguards, and it arranges equipment safety operation in accordance with adherence to functional level standards for safe operation.

Establishing a permanent production control over adherence to industrial safety regulations is the primary goal of Standartmunai LLP’s industrial safety management system. For this reason, the refinery developed production control regulations in line with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Civil Protection.” Production control is responsible for the following tasks in the field of industrial safety: making sure that hazardous production sites adhere to industrial safety regulations and identifying the conditions and underlying causes of disruptions that compromise the security status of work performance. Every year, Standartmunai LLP completes a contract for the insurance of civil liability of the owners of hazardous industrial facilities, the operations of which pose a risk to the environment.

In compliance with the guidelines for the formulation, endorsement, signing, implementation, and oversight of contracts (purchasing), Standartmunai LLP has instituted obligatory specifications for Contractor/Contractor organizations concerning occupational safety, environmental protection, and public health. The Contractor/Contractor is required to take all necessary precautions to prevent fatalities, accidents, damage to property, and environmental harm, as well as to provide services or perform work in accordance with current standards on labor safety and health, industrial, fire and transport safety, environmental protection, main pipeline, and other regulations in force in the work/service provision territory.

In the area of health, industrial safety, and environmental protection (henceforth referred to as 03, HSE), the Contractor/Contractor and the Company agree to provide services or carry out work in line with the standards, laws, and policies. In order to manage HSE concerns, Standartmunai LLP aims to provide contractors with a responsible approach that is built on mutual respect and interaction. Health and safety criteria must be met by contractors when signing an agreement for the provision of goods, works, and services (hence referred to as GWS).
